The National Archives of Australia Museum is a new government building designed to showcase, educate and help people explore the collection of the archives. Designed to be the newest addition to the parliamentary triangle, it seeks to be respectful to the past while providing a modern open atmosphere. The NAAM sits at the foot of the National library, being conservative to their viewpoints while connection onto the lake's edge. The building containing five gallery spaces, research centers, administration offices and restaurants to bring nightlife to the lake edge.
