A fit-out of a small cafe inside a shipping container. It has suitable access for customers with a wheelchair, using AS1428.1. The cafe features a custom-designed front counter, incorporating required spaces for equipment, serving space and integrated seating. A requirement for the project was to include an operable door, the left side of the container folds down into a service platform for the customers. The whole unit folds back up into the space of the original container at the end of every day to be secured.
